Families of fisherman are the only people to be seen on the beach in Gaza Strip. Beit Hanoun, Palestinian Territories, Nov. 17, 2006. The beaches here are deserted after Israeli artillery fire allegedly killed a family, a charge Israel denies. According to Human Rights Watch, since September 2005, Israel has fired about 15,000 rounds at Gaza while Palestinian militants have fired around 1,700 back.
