Robert Katende, the chess coach of Phiona Mutesi, a 14-year-old chess prodigy, at the Agape Church inside Katwe, the largest slum in Kampala, Uganda, Dec. 8, 2010. Mutesi lives in the slums of Uganda and is just now learning to read. But her instincts have made her a player to watch in international chess. Mutesi, a naturally talented chess player is coached by Katende of Sports Outreach Ministry. The chess club meets at the Agape Church.
